Human Trafficking Related Workshops:
GET TO THE ROOTS
(Audience Type: General)
Human trafficking operates on the basic business principles of supply and demand. In short, there are millions of slaves in the world today because there is a demand for them. This workshop takes a closer look at the root causes of human trafficking, including cultural messaging that is perpetuating this epidemic, and addresses practical ways to combat these toxic messages and beliefs.
LABOR TRAFFICKING AND CONSCIOUS CONSUMERISM
(Audience Type: General)
The International Labor Organization estimates that there are over 25 million people worldwide who are victims of forced labor, which means they are producing the goods we all consume every day. Learn how to be a conscious consumer -- make informed decisions on what to buy or boycott based on the human and environmental costs, understand common labor trafficking schemes, signs of labor trafficking, and action steps to take to prevent and report trafficking.
PORNOGRAPHY: ENDING THE DEMAND
(Audience Type: Mature)
The increasing demand for trafficked women and children in recent years is due in part to the proliferation of pornography. Research and evidence indicate that pornography is a major factor in the demand. This workshop will speak to both men and women about the destructive nature pornography has on our relationships, marriages, homes. We will provide information and resources to protect your homes and online devices, and discuss ways churches and communities can engage in the fight. There is hope and freedom in this area.
CHOSEN - THE TRUE STORY OF AMERICA’S TRAFFICKED TEENS
(Audience Type: Students/Teens)
As traffickers target younger and younger victims, American youth are engaged in a battle they never prepared for. This workshop pairs Shared Hope International’s best-selling youth sex trafficking prevention film with awareness education and discussion to teach teens the warning signs and indicators of trafficking through the true stories of teenage girls who were tricked by traffickers.
HUMAN TRAFFICKING 101 (Most popular workshop)

Understand how human trafficking is happening in the United States. Get answers to the following questions: What is human trafficking? How does it happen? What are the warning signs and how do I protect myself, my friends, and my family? This workshop will leave you more aware of this modern-day slavery epidemic and provide practical action steps to respond and prevent.
PARENT POWER
(Audience Type: Parents or adults with influence in youth’s lives)
Parenting today in this fast-paced, digital, sexually-charged world is not easy. How do we protect our homes from online predators and the agendas of the porn industry? How is pornography impacting today’s youth and our homes? How are youth being groomed for sex trafficking? How and when do we start talking to our kids about this stuff? This workshop will equip parents with the knowledge to protect their home through practical conversations at age-appropriate levels, as well as provide resources and education on internet safety.
INSPIRATIONAL / MOTIVATIONAL WORKSHOPS:
ACT JUSTLY, LOVE MERCY, WALK HUMBLE: PRACTICAL WAY TO LIVE IT OUT
Do you ever feel like the Christian life is a list of dos and don’ts? Do you find yourself feeling worn out from trying to make an impact and all the while wondering if you even are? This workshop is designed to help you rely on God to use your unique gifts and life experiences to practically live out the commands of Micah 6:8. Some human trafficking awareness and education is included in this workshop.
ROCKS OF REMEMBRANCE

We can all be forgetful at times. Sometimes it is funny. But sometimes our inability to remember can affect our outlook and effectiveness in life. God knows that forgetfulness is our tendency – He stresses the importance of remembering His works, His power, His promises throughout Scripture. This workshop will use Scripture to remind us why we must recognize, remember, and retell the moments God has moved in our lives and give practical ways to accomplish this, so we can impact our world.
HOLY DISCONTENT
God has placed in each of us a passion, righteous anger, and holy discontent to do something about social injustice. Learn the Love2Hope story of our family being called to fight human trafficking by selling our home, purchasing an RV, and traveling America for two years raising awareness. This workshop will discuss the link between various social injustices and human trafficking, suggest ways to recognize your own holy discontent, and provide practical actions to make a difference.
